About ARE Robots
Advanced Remote-Controlled Demolition Solutions for Demanding Industrial Applications
ARE (Advanced Robotic Engineering) develops remote-controlled demolition robots built for demanding construction and industrial work. The machines combine a compact tracked design, powerful hydraulic working arm, remote operation and hybrid drive technology, allowing operators to carry out demolition and material-handling work from a safer distance.
The ARE 1.0, ARE 2.0 and ARE 3.0 demolition robots are designed for different levels of work, from jobs in confined and difficult-to-access areas to heavier demolition inside industrial plants and construction sites. Depending on the application, ARE robots can be equipped with hydraulic breakers, grippers, clamshell grabs, buckets and other compatible hydraulic tools.
ARE robots are suited for concrete breaking, demolition, digging, material removal, furnace and kiln maintenance, plant shutdown work and other physically demanding industrial applications. Their electrically powered operation also makes them suitable for enclosed working areas where conventional diesel-powered machinery may not be practical.
With remote operation, strong hydraulic performance and a flexible attachment system, ARE demolition robots provide a practical solution for contractors, cement plants, steel and metallurgical facilities, industrial maintenance companies and other users looking to carry out difficult demolition work with greater operator safety and control.
Advantages of ARE Demolition Robots
- Up to 90% Dust Reduction – Helps significantly reduce airborne dust during demolition work, creating a cleaner working area and lowering operator exposure to dust.
- Remote Operation – Keeps the operator away from the immediate demolition area, including dust, debris, heat and unstable structures.
- Hybrid Drive – The robot can move on battery power without being connected to the mains during positioning and site movement.
- Up to 25 Minutes Battery Travel – ARE 2.0 can travel on battery power for up to 25 minutes before external power is required.
- Over 5 m Vertical Reach – ARE 2.0 can reach above 5 metres with a breaker fitted.
- Over 6 m Working Reach – ARE 3.0 is designed for larger demolition jobs where extra reach is required.
- Good for Indoor Work – Electric operation makes the robots useful inside factories, buildings, plants and other enclosed areas.
- Different Tools on One Machine – Breakers, buckets, grabs and other hydraulic attachments can be fitted according to the job.
- Less Time Spent on Positioning – The hybrid system reduces the need to connect and disconnect the power cable while moving the robot.
- Suitable for Difficult Access Areas – Compact tracked construction allows the robots to work where larger demolition machines may not fit.
- Operator Stays Away from Vibration – Because the machine is remotely controlled, the operator is not sitting directly on the demolition equipment.

ARE 2.0 is a compact, remote-controlled demolition robot built for heavier construction and industrial work. It combines strong demolition power with an extended hydraulic arm, reaching over 5 m vertically with a breaker. Hybrid drive, precise remote control and interchangeable tools make it suitable for concrete breaking, demolition, material handling, confined spaces and plant maintenance.
ARE 3.0 is the largest and most powerful remote-controlled demolition robot in the ARE range, built for heavy-duty work in industrial plants and construction sites. Its hydraulic arm reaches over 6 m, while the machine’s higher weight provides greater stability. Hybrid drive, precise remote control and compatibility with high-impact tools make it suitable for demanding demolition jobs.
